All of us rightly condemned the crime against humanity that Vladimir Putin has committed in Ukraine. The Western Governments moved instantly within 5 days of sanctioning Putin’s regime. And the strength of languages that was rightly used against Putin as Thug, as a Barbarian, a Murderer a Warmongerer. All those things are factually right. All of this also applies to the treatment of Palestinians by the state of Israel.

WESTERN WORLD NEEDS TO LEARN MORAL CONSISTENCY…

And yes the western government is concerned about its use of language and doesn’t feel it is appropriate to even use the word apartheid when Amnesty International the most respected human rights organization in the world and human rights watch within a very short period of time issue the damning reports saying that Israel since its foundation has been built on a system of Oppression, Domination, Apartheid and Racism, involving the murders of unarmed innocent civilians on a regular basis. Gaza is in a permanent state of humanitarian crisis and yet the western world wants to be careful about their language. They’re happy to correctly use the most strong and robust language to describe the crimes against humanity of Vladimir Putin but they won’t use the same strength of language when it comes to describing Israel’s treatment of the Palestinians which is now being documented and detailed by two of the most respected human rights organizations in the world.

Google Maps zooms in on Israel, labelling and distinguishing between the Gaza Strip and the West Bank. Palestine, on the other hand, is unmarked. Palestine has vanished from world maps. A 700-kilometre fence, which Israel is still expanding, has isolated Palestinian communities in “military zones” that require various special permits to enter or leave. Over 2 million Palestinians have been displaced as a result of Israel’s siege of Gaza. Gazans are unable to leave Gaza, effectively isolated from the rest of the world.

Younger Palestinians have only encountered hostile settlers or occupation-enforcing military who raid households and detain people for months without charges. Young Palestinian militants are lauded on social media as their sole hope for liberation.

Palestinian Bank leaders want independence. After 56 years, Israel is reclaiming the West Bank. It claims Palestinians are unprepared for peace with Israel and the occupation is necessary for security. But, it has authorised and supported hundreds of thousands of Israeli settlers across the West Bank, and the incoming far-right administration promises to legalise dozens of minor settlement outposts deep in the territory, making a Palestinian state impossible.

The devastating report released by Amnesty International stated that Israeli authorities must be held accountable for apartheid against Palestinians. The investigation demonstrates how Israel oppresses Palestinians everywhere it has control over their rights. The report “Apartheid in Israel Against Palestinians: Cruel Dominance System and Crime Against Humanity” explains how massive land and property seizures, unlawful killings, forcible transfer, severe movement restrictions, and denial of nationality and citizenship to Palestinians constitute an apartheid system under international law.

“No system can justify the systematic and ongoing racial subjugation of millions of people.” Apartheid is immoral, and those who support Israel will end up on the wrong side of history. Apartheid is immoral and states that back Israel will find themselves on the wrong side of history. Arming Israel and protecting it from United Nations accountability bolsters apartheid, undermines the international legal order, and magnifies Palestinian suffering. The western community must oppose Israel’s apartheid and embrace the innumerable undiscovered justice avenues.”Israeli authorities have tightened Palestinian movement restrictions since the mid-1990s. Palestinians are unable to travel into or out of Israel due to a network of military checkpoints, roadblocks, fences, and other infrastructure.

Imagine they don’t want to even use the word “Apartheid”. If they can act against Putin and his thugs in 5 days. The Palestinians have been oppressed for 70 years. What was the Western world’s justification for not imposing the same types of sanctions that they had united against Putin? If they will ever impose sanctions on Israel, I believe we know the answer. They’re not going to…. Then we ask, “Why?” With such fanaticism, when they stood up one after the other, declaring it intolerable. They would not tolerate Putin’s thuggery, warmongering, and brutality; immediate action was required, but they needed to be much more careful with Palestinians and their treatment.

NO ACTION

NO SANCTIONS

NO OUTRAGE

Merely a few words of concern, if we’ll ask them to do something… If Western Governments are to establish MORAL STANDARDS, those standards must be consistent, they need to show some moral backbone, and be consistent; otherwise, they are not standards at all. They are simply cynicism.

The Apartheid Convention requires states to exercise universal jurisdiction over persons reasonably suspected of apartheid. Apartheid’s international response must go beyond bland condemnations and equivocation. Israel must end apartheid and treat Palestinians as equals. Peace and security will elude Israelis and Palestinians until it does.”
