Unveiling truths, yet he’s pure, a serene breeze,

Pleaded for help, but was met only by a cold squeeze.

Nightly agony, a theme worn, threadbare,

Occupation masks a sinister, relentless affair.

Aching for children to cradle their mothers,

Yet, Gaza endures bombs, is devoid of drama.

Tax dollars vanish, lost in the unknown,

Callous killings unfold, and a heartless verse is sown.

A blind world immersed in a haunting silence,

Echoes of “Free Palestine” rise against the violence.

Can’t bear this pain, a twisted, harrowing game,

Every day, children are in graves, victims of a heartless name.

Race and place, triggers pulled in the gloom,

Peace, an elusive desire, an unattainable bloom.

Justify your deeds, how do you sleep?

Bodies tally up, wounds that cut deep.

IDF, a breed of malevolence,

Innocent children fear, “Am I next?” in their innocence.

Shot in peace, may they find eternal rest,

Videos and snapshots, a gruesome quest.

Shoot a child, chuckle in callous glee,

Bodies pile up, silenced agony.

Families erased, trauma systematic,

Homeless now, lost, life turned dramatic.

Pray for another day, another fleeting chance,

Grapple with the pain in this blind dance.

Murder, graves, race, and anguished cries,

Free Palestine, where truth defiantly lies.

Infused with the brilliance of Samer’s “World Goes Blind,” a creative surge takes flight.
